Children at Kipepeo Safe Space

At the start of 2022, some of the learners who use Kipepeo Safe Space asked for assistance in filling scholarship application forms for secondary school before they took their Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) exams. Kipepeo provides learners from 10 to 18 years of age a free, conducive environment to study, do assignments, read for leisure and engage in positive modes of interaction. The children we serve at Kipepeo mostly come from Kware, an informal settlement in Ongata Rongai, Kajiado County. As pupils from across the country sit their exams, some corporates in Kenya, from financial institutions to manufacturing firms, enable needy children to continue their education into high school by supporting them financially. Many children apply, but not many get assistance.
